Account information

When you register for an account, we collect your email address and a hashed version of your password. We do not store plaintext passwords.

Usage data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, export counts, and credit consumption. This data is used to improve the product and prevent abuse.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number, CVV, or bank account details. We receive a Stripe customer ID and subscription status from Stripe.

Video and media files

Videos you upload are processed server-side solely to complete your export request. We do not permanently store your raw video files. Processed output files are stored temporarily (up to 24 hours) and then deleted automatically.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser cookies for session management (authentication) and localStorage to persist your project state between sessions. No third-party advertising cookies are used.

We use collected information to: (a) provide and maintain the Service; (b) process payments and manage subscriptions; (c) respond to support requests; (d) detect and prevent fraud or abuse; (e) send transactional emails such as password resets or billing receipts; (f) improve the Service through aggregate analytics.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your video content for AI model training.

Service providers

We share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Service, including: Stripe (payment processing), Vercel or similar infrastructure providers (hosting), and OpenAI or similar providers (AI voice synthesis via API). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.

Legal requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process (e.g., a court order or government request).

Business transfers

If Vaynora LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Temporary export files are automatically deleted within 24 hours of creation.

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, hashed passwords (bcrypt), rate limiting, and access controls. However, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; object to or restrict certain processing; and data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@shortseasy.com.

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice on our website at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
